Text Replacement

Text replacements can help you reduce errors when typing as well as get your message across faster. You can create a shortcut and when typed, it will expand into the complete word, phrase, or sentence you that you apply to it.

iPhone Instructions

Open the Settings app
Tap General > Keyboard.
Tap Text Replacement.
Tap the plus sign on the top right
Type in the Phrase you want to shorten
Type the Shortcut you would like to use
Tap Save on the top right

Android Instructions

Open the Settings App
Scroll to the third group of options and tap Language & Input
Select Personal Dictionary
Tap the plus sign on the top right
Type a word or phrase
Type a shortcut
